During Exchange’s CEO Forum in September 2006 on governance and leadership, CEOs of partner banks and their board directors brainstormed about challenges faced in governance and board management. This note discusses five interesting challenges based on experiences, with recommendations on how to resolve these effectively. It also provides some templates for useful frameworks for the board, such as a board charter and a board evaluation template.
