Reliance Financial Services (RFS) has inaugurated a new branch in Sukuta, Kombo North, Western Division. Sukuta is a key location for the Gambian economic development agenda, which aims to reduce poverty by 50% by 2015. The opening ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Mrs. Sainabou Faal, Assistant Governor of the Western Division, and Hon. Adama Cham, National Assembly Member for Kombo North, who lent their support to Reliance’s efforts.
In addition, on June 16 XACBank upgraded its operations in the town of Bor-Undur from mobile banking to a full branch. The town, in Hentiy province, in eastern Mongolia, had been served via mobile banking for two years. The branch is XACBank’s 71st and the 3rd opened this year.
